Dog - Prednisone overdose?

I have been giving my french bulldog (18 - 19 lbs) 5mg of prednisone 2 times a day - prescription calls for 1 times a day every other day. He is also taking other meds that are prescribed 2x per day - I got confused and just realized this. On Monday he got one dose at night, tuesday he got two doses (one in the morning and one in the evening and the same for today - once in the morning and once in the evening (at 5pm today). He is also taking clavamox for his ear infection - that is when I got the allergy/inflammation meds. He is taking tramadol 1/4 tablet (2x/day) and chlor.maleate 2x/ day. I'm not sure what to do. When I came home he was panting a lot - i turned down the air and he simmered down. He is calm but I'm concerned what I should do. Please help.
