Wouldn't it be great if the food stamp program was abolished?

And I don't want to hear about how people would starve. I know how to budget and if necessary I can literally eat for 30 cents a meal, even less if I really cut corners. Not only that, but if the government got out of the business of feeding the poor, charity food banks would pop up. Plus we could stop the idiotic practice of the government paying farmers not to grow food, and the farmers then could sell or give their extra produce to these charity food banks.
