Is he mad that I canceled on him because I was tired?

I texted my guy friend whom I have been hanging with for 10 months and asked him did he want go to a movie screening with me later on in the day. He said we can do that but he his friend guy aksed him to go with him to a musical showcase and that he would see what his plans were so I said okay just let me know. He said he will then 15 minutes later he asked what time did I want to meet and I said in the afternoon after I got off of work and that I would call later on to confirm and that if he decides to go to the musical with his friend then let me know earlier. He said okay. Three hours later I was really tired and drowsy and had so much work and knew I would be exhausted from work so I text him letting him know that I was too tired and for him to go on to go to the musical with Keith and to let's do a rain check on it and maybe next time. He texted Lol allright. I asked him why the lol and he said nothing. I told him to text me later if he was not busy and he said ok bye. Well he never texted at all and I haven't heard from him. I think also he might be thinking I tried to teach him a lesson for cancelling on me last minute before but I wasn't I was tired. Is he mad that I cancelled and that's why he hasn't texted me? What did he mean by the lol? Please guys let me know. Women can answer also. Thanks.
